Founded in 1973 as Parkland Regional College, the college got its present name in 2008. Located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, the College has six campuses and one training centre. Parkland College offers bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, certificate and adult education and works greatly in the skill development area. The College is affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Parkland College enrolls over 1,650 part-time and around 600 full-time students. The university has around 1% international students on campus mainly from countries like Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Fiji, Jamaica, India, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Programs at Parkland commence in August or September and the college does not offer January or Spring intake. The college is recognized as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) that allows students from India,China, Philippines and Vietnam to apply for the Student Direct Stream (SDS).

Parkland College Campus
- The campus of Parkland College is located at 6 locations in East Central Saskatchewan and one training centre.
- The main campus is situated at Yorkton which is home to the Trades and Technology Center also.
- The Yorkton campus is located close to the Good Spirit Lake and Madge Lake where students can enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, golf and canoeing. Students can enjoy winter at close ski hills namely Mission Ridge and Assessippi
- The campus at Canora is about 50 km north of Yorkton City.
- Esterhazy Campus is towards the southeast of Yorkton.
- The college also has campuses at Fort Qu’Appelle, Kamsack, and Melville.
- While Yorton is rich in culture, art and recreation, it is also just 2 hours from Regina, 3.5 hours from Saskatoon and 4.5 hours from Winnipeg.

Parkland College Scholarships/Financial Aid
- The College offers merit and need-based scholarships and awards based on academic performance, activities, community service, and status of the student at Parkland.
- Parkland college internal scholarships are offered to full-time students to those who fulfill the eligibility criteria. 60 awards of 50,000 CAD are available in the category.
- The scholarship money is disbursed twice every year and one applicant can not apply for more than three awards, though the selection committee can make exceptions.
- Entrance scholarships are offered to first-year full-time students taking admission skills training areas ( like trades, health, business, etc.).
- Saskatchewan advantage scholarships are need-based scholarships and those who are successfully able to demonstrate the need for financial support are awarded these scholarships.
