The application for this session is expected to open in October 2026 at nbe.edu.in. Candidates who miss the June 2026 session or fail the exam can apply for the December 2026 session during this window. NBEMS will officially announce the confirmed next FMGE exam date and complete December 2026 session schedule on nbe.edu.in.
The FMGE correction window 2026 refers to the limited editing period provided by NBEMS after the registration closes, allowing candidates to correct errors in their application form. Based on the FMGE June 2025 pattern, two correction windows are typically provided: Round 1 (approximately 3 days after registration closes) and Final Window (approximately June, about 3–4 days). During the correction window, candidates can update test center preferences, correct personal details, and re-upload photographs or signatures if previously rejected. No changes are permitted after the final correction window closes.
There is no limit on the number of FMGE attempts. Candidates who fail the exam can appear in every subsequent June and December session without any restriction. However, candidates must renew their NMC eligibility certificate and meet all eligibility criteria at the time of each new application. Unlike NEET PG which has attempt restrictions for certain categories, FMGE permits unlimited attempts until the candidate achieves the passing score of 150/300.
