The BUMS course duration is 5.5 Years – comprising 5 years of academic study (4 professional years + preparatory phase) plus a mandatory 1-year internship at an affiliated Unani hospital. During the internship, students rotate through all Unani clinical departments including general medicine OPD, regimenal therapy unit, gynaecology, surgery, and ENT under supervision of qualified Unani faculty. BUMS admission without NEET is NOT possible in 2026.
