About UGMAC

The state counselling for Bihar is also known as Under Graduate Medical Admission Counseling. The UGMAC counselling is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Patna. The UGMAC counselling process is held to offer admission to the candidates in courses like BHMS, BUMS, BVSC & AH, BAMS, MBBS and BDS. The candidates who have qualified for the NEET-UG examination can apply for the UGMAC counselling.

UGMAC 2023 Exam Dates

The candidates should qualify for the Bihar NEET examination to be eligible for counselling. Based on the merit list, will be called for counselling. Below are the given details for the counselling that candidates can refer to before applying for the counselling process.

UGMAC 2023 Online Application

The candidates who have qualified for the NEET exam will apply for counselling online. Through the counselling process, candidates can secure their seats in the participating colleges.

How to fill out the online application for counselling?

Candidates can refer to the steps given below while filling up the online application form.

Step 1: Registration

• The candidates should register on the official website of BCECEB.
• Candidates have to register with their email id and mobile number.
• Once the registration is done, an activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number.
• The candidates have to use the activation code to activate their account and fill out the online application form for counselling.

Step 2: Personal Information

• The candidates have to fill in the required information on the application form.
• After filling in the application form, the candidate will have to save the application form as a draft.

Step 3: Uploading the documents

• The candidates have to upload the documents such as passport-sized photographs and signature (as prescribed by the conducting authority).   

Step 4: Academic Details

• The candidates have to fill in the academic details of X and XII and marks/percentage obtained.

Step 5: Preview the details

• The candidates are advised to cross-check the details filled in the application form before submitting it.

Step 6: Counselling Fee

• To attend the counselling session, the candidate must pay the application fee. The application fee details are given below.                                    

Step 7: Download and take the copy

• The last step is to download the application form and take the photocopy of the application form for further use or reference.

Choice Filling

The last stage in the counselling process is choice filling. The candidates will have to log in to the official account of BCECEB. After logging in to the account, the candidates need to fill the desired colleges/course provided in the list. This can be modified as per their wish until the last date. The seat allotment will be prepared based on the choice filling and merit list. 

Seat Allotment List

Before the choice filling, the BCECEB will release the colleges’ list for the seat allotment. This will give the candidates the idea of which college/course to choose for admission. The BCECEB will also release the final seat allotment for counselling.

Slot Booking for Verification of Documents

The slot booking is for those candidates who have been allocated seats in the colleges and wish to take admission in the colleges. The slot needs to be done online.
