DNB CET application form 2023 has been released on the official website. The last date to fill out the application form is Mar 30, 2023. The candidates who are willing to do online registration for the DNB CET 2023 Exam should follow the below-given procedure:

Follow the steps given below for online registration for DNB CET 2023:

1. Step 1: Search the official site of the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and click on it.
2. Step 2: The details which are provided on the site should be filled in. It also contains a few mandatory details which are to be filled in, such as:

• Name of the applicant

• DOB of the applicant in the format (dd/mm/yyyy format)
• Contact Number
• Country
• Email Address of the applicant
• Year of Passing (X, XII, graduation)
• Name of the Guardian
• category (SC/ST/ Others)
• Aadhaar Number
• Step 3: After filling in the details, the applicant should click on the ‘confirmation’ tab, which will be received at the applicant’s registered email address.
• Step 4: Log in with the registered email & password.

DNB CET 2023 Online Application Form

Candidates can follow the below steps to complete their application form online.

1. Step 1: Once the applicant has logged in by entering an email id and password (registered), tap on the link “DNB CET 2023 Application Form” and fill the form with valid personal details and educational details.
2. Step 2: Finally, click on the “Submit” button after the application is filled and note down the application ID.
3. Step 3: Applicants need to choose a security question that should be remembered and noted down as it is important for the registration process.
4. Step 4: Download and Take a copy of the Application Form for future reference.
5. Step 5: Upload scanned Images and Documents of passport-size photographs, signatures, and all educational documents.
6. Step 6: Payment of the application is to be done online. ( Payment fee is INR 4500).

What is the DNB CET?

The full form of DNB CET is “Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test-Super Specialty.” It is a national-level qualifying and ranking entrance exam, which is conducted twice a year by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in January and June/July. Candidates interested in different Postgraduate Courses in Modern Medicine are eligible for applying this exam.

Important Documents for DNB CET Admit Card 2023

The other important document(s) that should be provided by the admit card candidates is as follows:

• The hard copy of the DNB CET Admit Card 2023 with a passport-size photo of the candidates attached to the admit card.
• Photocopy of Permanent/Provisional SMC/MCI registration
• Any of the authorized photo IDs -PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar Card.

DNB CET Exam Pattern 2023

The DNB CET Exam Pattern 2023 has been provided below.

• Mode of Examination: DNB CET 2023 examination is conducted via online mode.
• Type of Questions: It will consist of multiple-choice questions
  • Medical super specialities.
  • Surgical super specialities.
  • Pediatric super specialities (For Neonatology).

• Language in which the exam will be conducted: The examination is conducted in the English language.
• Total No. of Questions: A total of 300 MCQs
• Time Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes of total time duration will be given for every section where each section is of 180 marks.
• Marking Scheme: 4 marks for every correct answer will be given, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
• Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria for passing the examination along with the cut-off for various categories is:
  • General Category – 50% marks(Minimum)
  • SC/ST/OBC Category – 40% marks(Minimum)
  • PWD Category – 45% marks(Minimum)

DNB CET Results 2023

The concerned Exam authorities will provide the DNB CET Results 2023, which will be available only online. The results will be declared on May 22, 2023. DNB CET 2023 Exam is conducted in two sessions in a year (January and July).

Admission will be provided for the candidates based on the marks secured in their exams. The exam authorities will opt for the candidates who have secured the same ranks based on the ‘tie-breaking criteria.’

The candidates should take a hard copy of their results as it is mandatory for the counselling process.

How to Check DNB CET Results 2023

DNB CET Counselling 2023

The schedule for DNB CET Counselling 2023 will be confirmed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The counselling for DNB CET 2023 and Seat Allotment will start for DNB Post MBBS & DNB Post Diploma Courses soon after the declaration of the result. 

• Candidates will be called for counselling based on their ranks.
• The students who have registered for any DNB CET post for counselling but are not yet allotted any seat for the post can automatically join the subsequent round of counselling
